I'm done. If Dan Haren or Max Scherzer aren't on the mound and Justin Upton/Mark Reynolds/Parra aren't up to bat I'm not watching. Put me at first base I could have made that grab with my eyes closed, nice catch Clark no wonder we had your worthless ass benched :mulli:

Arizona Dbags lose another in spectacular fashion, how many days until the NFL season starts?!?

I dont watch the diamondbacks and expect them to win anymore this year. To say only those guys are the only ones interesting to watch isnt really fair though. Davis Garlend and even Bukner have all done somewhat well this year. If I were AJ I would go all the way with my starters and probably kill there arms unless the starters were really struggling I would live and die with them.

I know it's not fair but Dan is a sure fire bet to pitch a good game and at least Max keeps it interesting with that flamethrower for an arm. I just sent out a mass text to some friends of mine, hopefully you will see us on TV tuesday in the nosebleeds with a sign that says "We made Seattle look good" and/or "Days until football season: (insert #)" I'm going to record that game on our dvr and if we get on tv, I found a new signature.

At this point just tank the season and go for the Lebron James of baseball in Bryce Harper.

I am with you on this. We can't let WAS get the best SP and bat of the decade. Harper is Joe Mauer but better at 18 and will be a stud in the bigs.

Funny bit interesting thing I read, cannot remember where, probably BA but if WAS fails to sign Strasberg they will get the #2 pick next year as compensation and are the favorite to land the #1 pick unless we give them a run for their money. So they could get both next year even if they balk at giving Strasberg the $50M. The interesting thing is if Strasberg doesn't sign and WAS gets him next year will his price go down. If WAS keeps getting the top pick and compensation picks do they need to actually sign Strasberg, a holdout would seem to benefit them.

team has so many holes. BP, 1B, LF, C.. That play by Clark today just epitomizes this season, dropped the ball on 09

I disagree that we have a hole at Catcher - Montero and Snyder do just fine.

1B - we have a hole right now, with our two main 1B on the DL.

I love Parra at LF.

These clowns find new and exciting ways to lose every night, it's almost comical at this point.

I like Jackson at first when he is healthy.
But Conor Jackson prefers LF. And his hitting was more solid once he moved to the outfield.

It looks like Mark Reynolds is pretty much our everyday 1B now, and I think that's a good move.

If Hinch plays him at 3B at all, it will be for All Star recognition at 3B. After the break, he might not play 3B at all.

Whitesell was a disappointment (although he was never given a chance), Tracy is damaged goods and, as much as I've been a Tony Clark fan, it's time for him to move into coaching. He will eventually be a Major League manager.
