Montero should be getting all the at bats anyway and Snyder sucks. Hester can give Montero the occasional day off. we need all the help in the pen we can get. Montero is stating to become one of my favorite d backs!
Have you noticed how Montero has become far superior to Snyder in throwing out base stealing attempts?
Every one of Montero's throws reaches 2B a few inches off the ground, where the 2B or SS catches it right there for the tag.
Every one of Snyder's throws is at the 2B or SS letters, nowhere near the baserunner sliding in.
You'd think that someone on the coaching staff would have corrected that by now.
The only thing that worries me about Miguel is how well he can hold up. During yesterday's game, they said now his back is acting up.
Hitting over .400. Calls a good game and has the confidence of the pitchers. Becoming a great defensive Catcher. I hope he can handle the rigors as our #1 Catcher for years.
I'm enjoying watching him, because I posted that he should supplant Snyder as our lead Catcher a year before he did. Good for Miggy!
