D.Davis= 5'9"/220; Henry and Holmes are exactly the same size (5'9"/215); Bennett is the same height but 5 lbs. lighter; Rudi Johnson and LaDanian Tomlinson =5'10"/220; Julius Jones and Brian Westbrook are an inch taller but 10 lbs. lighter (5'10"/205) and Tiki Barber checks in at 5'10"/200).

This demonstrates why size will not be the issue in Arrington's ability to play at the NFL level.

I wonder if JJ knows the lovefest that's happening on this board surrounding him. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, but sometimes I feel like I'm watching Monday Night Football and Brett Favre is playing ...

I made a similar comparison not long ago with Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders, and Marshall Faulk, whose career stats arent exactly shabby. With those comparisons, it could be argued that their size is an advantage, and not a disadvantage, even as long term workhorse type backs.

After watching the videos on this board of sproles and arrington I have to admit that I was more impressed with Sproles. Sproles vision and balance look superior to me.

Of course he is even smaller than JJ and I have to trust the experts that JJ pans out and be real good. I would not mind a 1000 yard season by Arrington. ;-)

I agree, I saw the videos too, although JJs were pretty good too. I read that Sproles has been looking good in the Chargers practices. Although he is even a notch lower in size than Arrington, and has Ladanian to compete with, so he probably will end up being more of a situational player/return man.
