Who has a big game, not a usual suspect?...someone who will step up in a big game and make a big play or 2 to either keep us in the game or win the game?

Warner, Fitz etc are capable of it every week, I'm thinking of guys who may start but aren't usually big playmakers.

Who is it this week? Gerald Hayes with a huge hit forcing a fumble? Bryan Robinson? Calais Campbell? Aaron Francisco? Ben Patrick? Sean Morey? JJ Arrington?

My pick is Rod Hood, I think he has at least 1 pick and a big return. He's due.

Breaston and Edge.
1st meeting CAR stacked the line to stop the run and KW threw for 350+. Edge struggled, fumbled and was sent to the bench. This game CAR adjusts, Edge has success and Breaston is the receiver with big third down catches.

or...
DRC- Limited actiion in 1st game against CAR. He will be forced by scheme to lay back from Smith for the first half to avoid the big play, but after CAR gets used to Smith being open for an easy 5-10 yds, DRC steps in front for a pick in the second half. Once he has the ball, well, he's GONE! TD DRC. He also has the capabiliy of blocking a field goal to make a game changing play. The kid could become a legend before his rookie year is over.

OK NFC Championship game edition, same question new game...

Who steps up this week? With Spach out will Pope or Patrick shine? If Boldin doesn't play will Doucet do something special? Another big game for Antonio Smith? DRC again?

Rackers! I think at least half of his 10 kickoffs will go through the endzone for a touchback. :D

I will say... Berry comes up with 2 sackes and a FF, Rolle get himself another pick, and I think JJ gets a td return and a long td run. I'm OD'ing on koolaid.

Breaston is gonna go off on offense, DRC and hood both will have picks on defense, and Calais Campbell is going to make a big play.

My first vote: EVERYONE.

My second vote...THIS:

Rackers! I think at least half of his 10 kickoffs will go through the endzone for a touchback. :D
But for a different reason. He kicks the game winning field goal with no time left on the clock & forever is relieved of his "choker" status.

Please God, don't let the game come to a game winning field goal by Rackers. My heart couldn't take it.

I am afraid of that too, he hasn't had to kick a FG to win a game all season long...we have no idea if he is over whatever it was that caused him to choke so often last season.

Speaking of kickers. I was at the chiefs Dolphins game in 1971 the longest playoff game ever played both Yapremian (sp) and Stenirude (sp) both great kickers missed easy field goals in OT before Miami was successful with an FG.

BTW Shane I was able to go to the game because it was Christmas day and this guys wife would not let him go.

I have all the confidence in Rackers this year. Bring it on Neal will be successful.

While clicking the thread, I also thought Hood might be the one that has a breakout game.

I'll take a shot at this. Someone not regular to have a good game. Calais Campbell, for tackling McNabb. May not get there first, but he'll finish McNabb. (Not like thanksgiving where he slipped out of every tackle we had him for)

He'll be that guy.
