On Saturday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide saw their NCAA Tournament run, as well as 2024-25 season overall, come to an end with an 85-65 loss to the Duke Blue Devils in the Elite Eight.

A game in which Alabama trailed throughout, Duke certainly gave the Crimson Tide some troubles, especially on the defensive end where they shot only a combined 35.4% from the field, as well as 25% from three. For Alabama, Mark Sears also struggled by finishing with six points and five turnovers on 2-of-12 shooting from the field, with Duke also out-rebounding the Crimson Tide a combined 41-30.

With the loss, Alabama ends their season with a 28-9 overall record, and fall just one win short of making a trip to the Final Four for the second consecutive year.

Not the way Tide fans imagined it concluding, but this was nevertheless a sensational season for Alabama.

Bama has a national best THIRTEEN Quad 1A wins (twelve away from home) against the toughest SOS in college basketball.

There is something very remarkable to be said about…
