Social media reacts to Auburn's March Madness win over Michigan

While some Auburn fans quickly went to bed following the Tigers' 78-65 win over Michigan in the Sweet 16 late Friday night, many others were celebrating.

Auburn basketball overcame a nine-point deficit with less than 13 minutes remaining in the game to earn the 13-point victory in March Madness. Freshman Tahaad Pettiford continued his strong March by shooting 50% from the field en route to a 20-point, three-assist outing. Pettiford was joined by Johni Broome and Denver Jones in the "20-point club" on Friday National Player of the Year candidate Johni Broome recorded another double-double by scoring 22 points and securing 16 boards while Jones added 20 points and four rebounds.

Most Auburn fans praised Pettiford and the team's overall performance, while others threw jabs at a former player. Here is a look at the best social media reactions from Auburn's March Madness win over Michigan.

Before we go... a little stat regarding an old friend​

Tre Donaldson had five points with 11:09 in the first half after he gave Tahaad Pettiford the "too small" gesture after making a bucket.

Donaldson didn't score the rest of the game and had four turnovers.

Pettiford had 20 points after that moment.
