Social media reacts to Jaguars trading up, picking Travis Hunter

James Gladstone made a huge splash to kick off his tenure as the Jacksonville Jaguars' general manager, trading up to pick No. 2 with the Cleveland Browns to select Travis Hunter.

Hunter is the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner and was rated as the top cornerback in this year's class and the top wide receiver by many draft analysts.

Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported before the draft that she was hearing that the Jaguars wanted to keep this draft "electric"--and I would say that was accomplished.

I understand, from the Browns perspective, the idea of loading up on 2026 picks and preparing to nail the quarterback selection that is inevitable next offseason.

With that said: I would never, ever, ever want to be the team that traded out of the Travis Hunter pick.
