Hill is a HUGE get! I'm glad he waited and didn't sign his LOI at SC. I bet Moser wishes he had waited as well.
Certainly possible on Moser since it's not clear yet where he fits at UCLA.
When he signed they said he was likely to play SG, now they're saying he can play the 2,3 and 4. All you have to do is look at UCLA's roster and you can see the 4 is unlikely, 2 returning seniors(Drago and Keefe) and 2 incoming freshmen (Lane and Nelson) all bigger and stronger than Moser.
At the 3 his competition is senior Mike Roll, and freshman Tyler Honeycutt who right now is universally considered a better player and prospect than Moser.
SG if we assume Holiday leaves is the most obvious spot for PT, figure Anderson at the 1, Lee at the 2, and Roll or Moser as the backups.
Moser didn't play too much or too well in the recent game for the USA against the foreign team, 9 minutes 0 points 4 boards. It's weird the US coach said Moser was a step behind the other players in terms of athleticism, but is a very hard worker and will be a good college player. For 2 years now people have been calling Moser a great athlete, he can definitely jump and was supposed to have good lateral movement, scouts compared him to Mbah A Moute, now suddenly he's a below average athlete? If that's true he's likely to get buried at UCLA behind all the 4's, honeycutt, and eventually Tyler Lamb. If he's better than his team USA coach said, great. I know the BRO guys loved Moser long before he backed out of UA.
I am thrilled that UA got Hill, first I hate Tim Floyd and his renegade program so anybody that bolts them is fine with me, second it's in the Pac 10's best interests to have several good programs and with USC hopefully headed for probation I'd much rather see UA get better than USC get better.
