Yes. I was touched by the pics and wanted to share them....check it out. I was POed but it is better to let some things lie I guess.
Was their problem with you just that you put the thread in the wrong place in their opinion?
Oh yeah, I forgot about that knucklehead bad-mouthing Tillman's intentions. Suppose it was best to let it go. What can you do?

I don't think you were necessarily wrong for posting there, but you have to understand that not everyone sees Pat's legacy the same way we do.
I went to the game, bought his jersey, put the pin on my hat, and was brought to tears when his wife spoke at the ceremony. Why? Because I felt the terrible loss of not having Pat around to tell us to shut up and get on with our lives. Most of us agree that Pat would have been very embarrassed at all the hooplah surrounding his death.
You can't force people to feel an emotion. I don't think those guys on the Vikes board are wrong in wishing the Pat Tillman story would just go away. It's what Pat would have wanted himself.

Well, they moved the thread, no biggie right. Wrong. The area of the board this "miniman" wanted it to go to is lightly moderated and now it will get hairy I guess. I hate Tillman bashers!! I started another thread on the political area with a pic of the Tillman banner that was pulled over the crowd.....really cool. I don't want trouble, I just wanted to share these pics and some butthole ruined it, and got what he wanted. I'm a man of few words, I hope someone with a bit more smarts can put this guy in his place.
