I don't think you were necessarily wrong for posting there, but you have to understand that not everyone sees Pat's legacy the same way we do.
I went to the game, bought his jersey, put the pin on my hat, and was brought to tears when his wife spoke at the ceremony. Why? Because I felt the terrible loss of not having Pat around to tell us to shut up and get on with our lives. Most of us agree that Pat would have been very embarrassed at all the hooplah surrounding his death.
You can't force people to feel an emotion. I don't think those guys on the Vikes board are wrong in wishing the Pat Tillman story would just go away. It's what Pat would have wanted himself.
