I can deal with being dominated and even though there were some iffy calls the game was totally oneside.

But that doesn't excuse some of what Atlanta is doing. Go on 4th down, get it and then run a reverse on the next play all with a 24 point lead?

And on the play where Anderson got his bell rung, they hit Fitz, held him up, and then pushed him back as another Falcon ran in from behind and drilled him.

As I write this Porter and Iwebema nailed Ryan. Hate to say it, but that NEEDED to happen.

We did put them out of the playoffs a couple of years ago. That is probably still in the back of his mind.

Sure but we beat them in a clean game and they were the ones popping off before that game not us.

That hit on Fitz was really cheap, I was surprised it wasn't flagged given all the roughness pentalties in this game like the one on Toler's blow to the chest.
They held him up, pushed him backwards and a DB came in and drilled him in the back from behind.

I don't want anybody to get hurt but I'm very glad Matt Ryan got hit hard because Mike Smith needs to understand running up the score and taking cheap shots at our best player will be retaliated against.

Our defense can't stop a team thats going to run up the middle every fricking time for rest of the game. We can't prevent them from getting five yards on each carry. I want our coach to answer for that. I don't care a lick about what what anyone else's coach is doing. How the hell did we get to this point.

The starting ILB on the PUP list doesn't exactly help. OBVIOUSLY - that's not all, but . . .

Robinson needs to retire today as much as I love the guy he's toast at the NT position and maybe he can be a third DE backup but thats it for a few plays now for the guy.He cannot handle double teams and our most important pivot position.

Why is Gabe Watson still out for two weeks plus for his ankle? We need some meat in the middle.I guess if your ankle is bum then you can't take a double team either.

Dansby was a stud for the Phin's today against the Vikes. I think the Cards miss him dearly

If you don't like it stop them. Apparently this team has no pride or dignity. I wish the Falcons piled it on more. The team needed it, the coaching staff needed it. I'm more upset at Smith for taking a knee at the end of the game instead of going for it.

The Falcons should have done whatever they wanted to against the Scout Team that played them today.... I would have run they score up... who cares, obvisiously the Cards don't.

I am glad someone else felt this way. Would have started going after them also. Cheap shots when game was out of reach.

Whis should just tell Smith "Thank you very much for kicking our tails". Maybe Whis can master the art of getting media attention even when after a loss.

Nope I don't mean cheap shots, I mean lay a big hit on Ryan, as we did, and let Mike Smith know that running up the score has consequences, if you leave your starting QB in, he might get hurt.

In no way do I advocate cheap shots, but when they're running reverses up 24 points I think it's just going too far. Everyone has days like this in the NFL, and people don't forget them, I guarantee you Whiz won't forget this.

"Running the score up" on the Cards didn't bother the Cardinals players on D on O or the coaching staff, so why should it bother the fans?

My post wasn't clear. I was referring to the Atlanta cheap shots when the game was really over. I would have went after them at that point. Clean but go after them.

Gimme a break The Cards deserved everything the Falcons put on them today. They just plain sucked today. IF this is how they continue to play then they deserve a beat down every week.

The falcons did nothing wrong. We should not have to have asked for mercy. We were beat and should have received the whoopin' to put this team back into perspective. Seriously Whiz should have known better going into the season with so many holes and question marks. We were lucky last week and last season we were overrated and over confident because of Warner's miracles. With Warner we would have been atleast 34-41. But with DA our offense just nonexistent.

So if Fitz had got hurt on that hold him up and hit him from behind play you would have said we deserved it?

I'm actually surprised nobody on the OL came in and went after the DB that hit him, honestly surprised me they didn't protect the best player.

Because this team is about 1 more beatdown before self destruction and Whiz losing control of the team. If Whiz doesn't do anything now the players will sulk and play out their contracts for the remainder of the season.
