The OL always seem to be more "settled" when Skelton is at QB.
Take it for what it is - Confidence.
You are spot-on with this assessment. I really hope that Whiz actually DOES take note that, (the O-line always seems to be more settled when Skelton is the QB).
I still don't believe that we have seen the best that Kolb has to offer. I am, however, very disappointed in his first showing this year. The first game jitters, I can understand. What I can't fathom is that he appears to be just as out of shape as he was when he came here a year ago. He has done NOTHING to improve his ability to take a hit. He has not taken advantage of the opportunity to use that full year to get stronger through his core. That is unforgivable in my opinion. Given his injury history, one would think that he would have jumped at the opportunity to work very hard at getting stronger with John Lott's help. He has apparently ignored that opportunity.
This leads me to believe that he fits the mold of-----(you can't fix a problem until you first recognize that you have one). Apparently he does not recognize that he has this problem, and further more, he may not even recognize that he flushes waaaay out of the area where his O'line can protect him. I no longer believe that he will ever earn his salary-----not here; not anywhere. That is just my opinion of course, but I am entitled to it I believe. He has been here long enough now, to have worked on some of this, and has failed to improve any of it so far. That is shameful in my opinion, especially give the money he has garnered.
