I'd love him back he was still a damn good RB
If he wasn't made of glass I'd be with you but between him, DJ, and Ellington, not one of them seems to stay completely healthy for an entire season. We need someone who can pick up the slack without going on IR.

He was a leader on the team and a vet willing to teach and wanting to belong. I would have him back up DJ and Williams, and I would then cut Ellington if Logan shows he can be the 'X' factor unless The Duke shows he can claim a spot on the WR group six

NJCardFan, seems that's the way it is in today's NFL. Not many RB's go through an entire season, injury free. That's why you need multiple RB's.

No way would cj be third string, he's instantly the 2nd best rb on the team

No. he started slowing down the end of his half season with us and looked slow before he got injured last season.

And you can't have TWO back up running backs not playing STs and at this point in their respective careers Williams is a better number 2 than a 33 year old oft-injured CJ.

I agree.

Sucks, because I really enjoyed his first time around with us when he was leading the league in rushing before he got hurt.
