The source said the trade, which involved getting cash from Houston and sending the Rockets the rights to center Maarty Leunen, was primarily to acquire the right to swap Golden State's 2020 second round pick (acquired by Dallas in 2016) for Houston's second-round pick. Once Onuaku clears waivers next week, the Mavericks expect to sign veteran guard Devin Harris, who verbally agreed to terms last week. The source also said the Mavericks have agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with former Loyola Chicago guard Donte Ingram. This means that if Dallas waives Ingram and he agrees to play for the G-League Texas Legends and stays for at least 60 days, he can receive a bonus of up to $50,000. --Brad Townsend
