Madison Mathiowetz and Brooklyn Meyer combined for 18 points as the SDSU went into the fourth quarter with a two-point lead. That momentum carried over early in the fourth as the Jackrabbits opened on a 6-0 run. Paige Meyer led the way late, scoring eight (update X) fourth quarter points.

Heard matched Meyer's third quarter tally to keep the Cowgirls in the mix but a 14-3 SDSU run, capped by a Madison Mathiowetz reverse layup, gave the Jackrabbits their first lead since early in the first quarter. Mathiowetz scored nine third quarter points.
