Said he won't hire an agent but he's expected to stay in the draft because he's a lottery pick.

Can't blame a guy for wanting to get to the pros now which would enable him to get money. Especially lotto money.

But he could benefit from another season or two in the college ranks.

If he stays in the draft, he's likely going to sit the bench. I see him getting the Robert Swift type treatment.

Swift was going to start to get some decent PT this season (his third) until he was seriously injured.

It's too hard to grow in the pros if you are subjected to the bench and not given the oppurtunity to play consistently.

Expecially when you're liable to get benched because you didn't do something right in your 5 minutes of play during one of the 20 games you were allowed to check in.

He's a lot more NBA ready than Swift was but he needs to get stronger and tougher. But guys his size don't normally have his touch, someone will get infatuated with that part of his game.

He reminds me a lot of a smaller Rik Smits.
