I work for Sprint...The phone comes out on the 15th of October...I have an all day training class on the 1st and should be getting one to demo at that time...and the coverage isn't bad at all. It's all relative to where you need a phone to work. Not all carriers are perfect.

Feel free to PM me if you have an specific questions.

I have Sprint, and the new Palm Pre, I have to say I love Sprint, the coverage has been great, and I get voice and data pretty much everywhere I have been. On a recent trip to Vegas I may have lost coverage twice at most and those where in BFE. My last experience was with T-mobile and I did not get reception at my house or work, both were in areas that were supposed to have the best coverage areas. I really cant explain how well sprint has been for me, plus if you are a costco member you can get upto 23% off your bill, also if you get an unlimited data plan i think you get unlimited mobile to mobile calling which is just awesome and blows the competition away.

Thanks for the feedback.

I've been with Verizon for a while and got used to their coverage, which is real good.

However they are way behind on phones, I hear a few rumors but nothing concrete yet

According to Boy Genius, the Sholes should launch in late October. I would think the 19th or 26th.

Some remarks concerning the sholes:

What makes the Sholes so appealing? Um, the fact that VZW has yet to carry any phone w/ an OS other than WM. If this doesn’t get crippled, it will become the device that stops the masses from vacating Verizon. Seriously, it could make the iPhone’s anticipated VZW arrival next year a bit less impactful.

I played with a Storm 2 today.... That thing was crazy nice.

I agree! I just left VZW after 10 years for the iPhone, knowing full well service would suck. My wife and I then took off on a 10-day road trip halfway across the US and back…guess whose phone never stopped working? Yup…my wife’s VZQ BlackBerry! My iPhone worked only in the large cities and when it did work in smaller ones, there was no 3G service, so why bother. I returned the iPhone (still inside 30 days) when I returned and happily returned to my Curve. I’ll upgrade it to the Storm 2 whenever it appears.

Also if you are interested in the Palm Pre Verizon has decided to not pick it up after all.
