Davon Reed is in the game for those who want to watch him.

Taller Dragic is basically the floor for Doncic. He - at age of 19 - is already (more or less) on Dragic's level.

What is the ceiling, I'm seriously trying to see it. And hope someone can convince me he can become a superstar?

When every evaluation of him, even those who are rating him as number 1 pick, is lack of foot speed that should be a huge red flag.

I just don't get why everyone is down on McD? Everyone in the draft had Bender as a top 10 pick and Chriss as a top 15 pick. It is the players that are not living up to thier potential.

Majority of all the bigs picked around that range haven't done much. Skal is averaging 18min / 8pts and 4.5 rbs I don't see a huge upgrade there.

100-50

100-50!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone who wants to give McD one more chance gets exactly what they deserve... nothing but pain, scorn and derision.

Players, coaches... even JERSEY’S have changed, yet the only constant in this sewer of suckage is the idiot calling the basketball shots.

Three straight years of getting WORSE... UNINTENTIONALLY.

THREE GOING ON FOUR COACHES.

LEAGUE-WIDE DERISION

100-50!!!!!

That’s why.

A lot of fans hating on the Suns didn't want DA back when he was available.

Obviously the Suns are so much better without him. (sarcasm)

The Suns can't even sniff the playoffs anymore much less even see a championship on the horizon.

Three point guards... JESUS. For that alone his ass should be fired... especially since we have NOTHING to show for ANY of them except Brandon Freaking Knight on a ludicrous long term deal and some late first round picks.

I still say Kerr was worse. He couldn't get a f'n deal done to save his life.

Besides, I "sort of" like the path we're on. A solid draft and a free agent could really turn this team around.

Nice to say, but cheese's point is that the odds of McD having a "solid" draft and bringing in a free agent--ANY free agent--is pretty low. And after tonight, I might be moving firmly over to his camp.

McD makes Kerr look like the best GM of all time right about now.

That’s just it... if we started on this path, I’d be fine with it. Problem is we actually started on another path... halfway up the mountain, with terrible hiking gear, fell over a cliff on accident and ended up dead.

Here’s reality... this CURRENT path is good, but we need a new trail guide or we’re just going to die here because our current guide doesn’t know a compass from a freaking hole in the ground.

None of what we’re seeing is on purpose.

Harrumph!

We’ve been an absolute embarrassment for too long. And for those who say they’re scared Sarver might get someone worse, he could put a pile of crap in that spot and the only difference we’d have is visual confirmation how sh*tty our FO is.

Because, as I've posted, the season is half over and the Suns have no chemistry. You can't blame it on injuries because using players out of position causes injuries.

The Suns have been a team of gimmicks. Three lead Point Guards. Three Centers competing for playing time. Our best player (Shooting Guard) and star of our team switched to starting Point Guard because now we have no NBA quality Point Guards.

It's not the players, SweetD. It's the nuts behind the wheel, as they used to say.

The Managing General Partner and the GM. And a Head Coach who accepted the job a few games into the season by announcing that he does not want the job permanently.

No, it's not the players. They're trying to do the best they can. Despite coming to the arena not knowing what position they'll be playing, if indeed they are playing at all.

The Suns have been severely mismanaged.

The Suns might consider putting McDonough in a position like Babby because he is a good manager but need to find someone (GM) who can assist with scouting and personnel decisions.

I've mentioned the Suns need help in scouting before.

All I can say is this. McD has had his ups and downs and if some ppl call him out I can't blame them. Im just saying I see some reasons for his goofs and I still have some faith in him. I don't know how comfortable I'd feel bringing some unknown to fill his job. If he gets replaced it better be by someone with established credentials.

A pile of crap with peanuts has more credentials.

That is not Sarver's MO, whose approach is the same as any leader who had no credentials for the job. Hire inferior underlings who won't show you up.

It is a formula for continued failure.

Y'know, like we're seeing.

I bet Sarver would love playing GM again.

How is he a good manager? He constantly airs dirty laundry about outgoing players who roundly destroy him in the press.

Final:

Spurs 129 - Suns 81

Thankfully the game is over.

Hope the Suns do not do anything crazy at the trade deadline.

What's the point in arguing over the past now, this draft is everything, and will determine the future of the franchise.

Handful of potential franchise players, we will be in position to draft one, Will they get the right one or get just a good player?
