St. John's player did a 'sniper' bench celebration that disappointed fans

I'm all for bench celebrations in basketball, especially the coordinated ones that are fun to watch every year.

But this one was a little too much.

In the middle of St. John's blowout March Madness win over Omaha in the first round of the 2025 men's NCAA tournament, Brady Dunlap got down on his stomach and mimed a sniper shooting a gun.

I know, I know: shooters in basketball are known as snipers, but with all the gun violence in the world, this is over the top.

Some fans agreed and said as much on X (formerly Twitter) after the celebration:
