That cant be true. The rest of the league was supposed to be in love with this guy more so then all of us lowly fans realized and he was supposed to get a good long term deal becuase of it.

By the way its only 200k more then what he would ahve got in terms of veteran minimum salary.

That's classless of you, Joe. Typical you.

This may turn out to be a significant signing if Warner accepts the Rams' offer...or...if Warner re-signs and the team decides to see what they can get for Leinart.

Typical you. Cant handle even a little ribbing when just one of your countless rants dont even come close to being true. As cards fans you would think the skin would be a little thicker. If I couldnt laugh at my own countless predicitions thrown in my face(and there is a lot that can be throw in my face) I would be a bitter man.

Classless? For bring back up past comments that didnt come true. I have past comments come back to bite me in the butt all the time. IF you dont want things to be brought up later dont put it on the internet where it will last for ever. Skorp gets ribbed for never liking Wilson for so long. He still does to this day.

If you cant handle your opinions being talked about then dont post them.

What came true is the Cardinals obviously saw the importance of re-signing St. Pierre, not even one full day into free agency. There was some urgency here, hence the timing of it.

There's also a difference from what you term "ribbing" and the type of snide belittling you do from time to time. Ribbing can be taken lightly...snide berating can't.

Sorry, Mitch. Judges consider this ribbing. If Joeschmo is going to be snide, you WILL know it.

:)

Touch gloves and continue.

I'm a St. Pierre fan myself and I thought this was good natured ribbing. But what the heck, I'm a Card fan. :)

Only if KW chases the money and only the money....but I see what you are saying.
I see us working out a 2 year deal to keep him, but we'll see how this plays itself out. ;)

Mitch, Mitch, Mitch, Please lighten up. Both you and Joeshmo are our best contributors on this board. We all have fun with your passion for Brain St. Pierre. Life is to short to not be able to take a little ribbing which is just what we all feel this was. Don't disappoint us on this.

Yes, I can agree that Joe can have a stinging tongue. Mitch, I like your posts and always look forward to your well-thought out and well written ideas and remarks. Keep them coming.

Dammit, I was auditioning for the clipboard holder position this season!!!

Easiest $600k I would ever make in my lifetime, and I look prettier than St. Pierre on the sidelines!! :)

Who says Graves isn't active in the free agent market? I heard he got to St.Pierre before Snyder could swoop in with his 3 year/27 mill offer. Way to go Rod. I heard the key to the deal was Graves promised more ergonomically correct clip boards thus reducing the chance of having to list St.Pierre on the weekly injury report:
Brian St.Pierre,QB, questionable, carpel tunnel.

Bally’s Sports needs to go away
I see this as a negotiation move by the Cardinals as much as anything else.

Warner says "I'm negotiating elsewhere" and the Cardinals immediately re-sign our third stringer for a couple hundred grand extra. "Alright, well if you gotta go, we're as ready as we can be"
