Andrew Luck and Frank Reich overlapped with the Indianapolis Colts for the 2018 NFL season. Now, they will be together for a campaign with Stanford football.
The Stanford football GM is taking his time when hiring a coach to replace the fired Troy Taylor. He will turn to his former NFL coach in an interim role for the 2025 season.
Reich and Luck combined to lead Indianapolis to a 10-6 record in 2018. The Colts won a wild-card game over the Texans before being eliminated by the Chiefs in the divisional round.
Stanford is now in the ACC. In the Cardinal's first year in the conference, they went 3-9 overall and 2-6 in conference play.
Reich's season will start with two road games at Hawaii and BYU. The first trip is a nice one, but the second is a true tester.
