Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton has been driven off the field in an ambulance after being hit in the face by a pitch at Milwaukee. Stanton was bleeding from the face after being struck by a pitch from Mike Fiers of the Brewers in the fifth inning Thursday night. The 88 mph fastball hit Stanton under the left eye and he immediately fell to the ground. Stanton's father was at the game and came on the field while his son was treated, and left with him in the ambulance.
