With the playoffs starting next month, Dallas Stars fans are chomping at the bit to find out when both Tyler Seguin and Miro Heiskanen can return to the lineup. Heiskanen has not played since January 28th after taking a hit from a falling Mark Stone.

Heiskanen is undoubtedly the Stars number one defenseman and quarterback of their first power-play unit, so it was a huge hit to lose him for an extended period of time. And the thought of not having Heiskanen to shut down the Connor McDavid's of the league.

After losing Seguin, Heiskanen and Nils Lundkvist, who will not be returning this season, general manager Jim Nill was forced to make a move and traded for Mikael Granlund and Cody Ceci. Since losing Heiskanen, the Stars are 10-4-0.

Before the trade deadline, Nill stated that they were anticipating Heiskanen's return around the playoffs, but also stated it could be "sometime in the playoffs." He also followed it up with the fact that they would have a better idea of his return mid-to-late March.

Today at practice, head coach Pete DeBoer announced that Heiskanen has not started skating yet. There was no further update on his status.
