If everyone is healthy and Ward bought out.

Amare/Voshkul/White
McDyess/Harvey/Lampe
Marion/Zarko
Johnson/Jacobsen
Barbosa/Eisley

IR: Googs, Williams

This team still is very talented if you compare to some of the teams that are playing a lot more succesful basketball.

I don't think we are going to see Barbosa starting right away. I think Howard Eiseley will be the starting point guard.

How soon the the Suns going to be able to get Milos Vujanic into a Phoenix Suns uniform?

Slin and the other European posters,

I'm sure this is being discussed on the other thread, but I haven't had a chance to read through it yet. How good is this guy? I thought I had read recently that he is the best point guard in Europe. Are there any problems with him?

Thanks,
Joe Mama

I have seen him only once and I am not even sure it was him.

The best PG in europe is Sarunas Jasikevicius hands down. Milos isn't close to him, at least not yet.

Remember Jasikevicious was rumored to sign with the Suns this offseason but had already agreed to a contract with Tel Aviv.

That being said Jasikevicius absolutely dominated Jaric and Parker at the european championships.

Yes he was Joe.

The Suns are a big team now. I actually watched Lampe during preseason and I thought he would have looked good in a Suns uniform.

He is signed to a 3 year deal for 1 million a year.

Joe, as I said in another thread, he is one heck of a player. He can do it all- think Drazen Petrovic who could play D. I absolutely love watching him play. He is at least as fun as Marbury. I disagree with Slin- Vujanic is not only the best PG in Europe, but he is the best PLAYER in Europe.

The best player in europe right now is Arvydas Macijauskas

Than you still have Bodiroga and Jasikevicius who are better than Vujanic.

Macijauskas was selected best SG and overall European palyer for 2003. Also he is in All-Europeans 1st Team 2003 together with Parker, Peja, Dirk and Gasol.

Yeah but those are facts.

Maci was selected best european player, Jasikevicius dominated any PG at the european championships and Bodiroga is established as one of the best Euros ever.

I dont see an arguement, It sounds like we are getting a heck of a player. Not to mention draft picks, cap space, and "maybe" a solid player at center Lampe...

You mentioned in another thread that Jasikevicius is by far the best european PG.

I wouldn't go that far. He is a very good one, no question.
I think that he is the best 1st pass PG in Europe.
But don't forget that he plays for the best european NT which plays the best team basketball and has a lot of skilled individual players.

BTW, Jasikevicius didn't dominate against Spain at all moreover he had an average game.
I still would hesitate to take him over Parker.
Jasikevicius is bigger and a better passer but who should Parker pass to?
To Diaw or Moiso? They can dunk the open 3ft-er but so much about their offensive arsenal.

In other words I would argue that Jasikevicius is such a dominant PG in Europe.
