Mike Tomlin has all but confirmed the long-rumored stance of the Pittsburgh Steelers on the Aaron Rodgers waiting game—the team will be as patient as humanly possible.

Much to the dismay and disappointment of the Black and Gold faithful, Tomlin practically confirmed what reporters, analysts, and sports media personalities have been saying over the past few weeks—Rodgers has the Pittsburgh Steelers right where he wants them.

When asked whether or not Rodgers would be given a deadline, the Steelers head coach had this to say:

"Not to my knowledge. You know, I don't know that we've approached it from a deadline perspective. Certainly, as I mentioned, you'd like to have settled circumstances. But, you know, deadlines don't often bring that to a head."

The controversial Skip Bayless called out the Pittsburgh Steelers over "groveling" to Rodgers, and Tomlin's comments hardly inspire confidence to the contrary.
