Pittsburgh Steelers legendary QB Big Ben Roethlisberger may have just revealed his doorway back into the NFL — in the scouting department.

On his podcast, Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger, it was revealed exactly what he'd love to bring to the Steelers as a scout:

"There's something about the intangibles that, me as a guy that played it, I think I have a different perspective on it. That's why, like, if the Steelers were to ask me, 'Hey, will you look at this?' 'Will you evaluate this?' 'Will you walk me through what you see here?' — I would love to do that. I would love to be a part of that kind of stuff, because I feel like I have a different view than a lot of people who just watch film would see."

Co-host Spencer Te'o asked Big Ben whether or not he'd turn down an offer from a team to become a scout, and Roethlisberger said he would accept:

"I'd rather do that than coach," Big Ben stated. "If there was ever — if I can impart any little bit of wisdom like that, I think that would be a lot of fun."

Is Roethlisberger hinting at the Steelers to hire him as a scouting consultant or scouting assistant? Is Big Ben exactly what the Steelers need to find their next great signal caller?
