After Aaron Rodgers' reported throwing session with DK Metcalf at UCLA was reported to have gone well, all signs have pointed to an inevitable signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers—and Art Rooney II knows this all too well.
According to ESPN's Brooke Pryor, Rooney stated that several "positive" signs have continually pointed towards the Steel City arrival of Rodgers. The Steelers President went so far as to say the organization "feels pretty good about it at this point."
One of the signs Rooney mentioned would be none other than the UCLA throwing session, one that Rooney acknowledged was a good sign that Rodgers wished to throw with the newly acquired Pittsburgh Steelers WR Metcalf.
In regard to a potential Rodgers-signing timeline—one that HC Mike Tomlin refused to acknowledge—Rooney had this to say about how long it would take: "Not forever, but a little while longer,"
Could Rooney's "little while longer" comment be alluding to an eight-day wait, when Pat McAfee's Big Night AHT in Pittsburgh on April 9th will take place?
