We know the Arizona Cardinals could be active working trades during the 2025 NFL draft. After all, they have made six draft-day trades in the last two drafts. In a new seven-round mock draft for the Cardinals, they make four trades.

The most notable trade comes in Round 1, when the Pittsburgh Steelers move up to No. 16 to draft quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Here are the trades the Cardinals made.

Mock draft trades

With Sanders falling, the Steelers move up. The Cardinals trade pick No. 16 and pick No. 115 (Round 4) for No. 21, No. 83 (Round 3) and the Steelers' 2026 second-round pick.

The Cardinals then trade the No. 83 pick they received from Pittsburgh Steelers and their seventh-round pick (No. 225) to the New Orleans Saints for No. 93 (Round 3) and No. 131 (Round 4).

In the fifth round, the Cardinals traded the pick No. 152 to the New York Giants for pick No. 154 and No. 219 (Round 7).

After that, they traded pick No. 154 to the San Francisco 49ers for picks No. 173 (Round 5) and No. 179 (Round 6).

The Cardinals end up with eight picks and at least one in every round, including two in the third round, and they pick up a 2026 second-round pick.

Now for the draft picks in the seven-round simulation.

7-round Arizona Cardinals mock draft selections

Round 1 (No. 16 overall) - Oregon DT Derrick Harmon: The Cardinals land a DT with huge upside. In the actual draft, it will be a surprise if he is on the board this late. He gives the Cardinals more youth with Darius Robinson on the defensive line. He has All-Pro potential.

Round 2 (No. 47 overall) - Ohio State EDGE JT Tuimoloau: Going with a defensive tackle in Round 1, the Cardinals make sure to add an edge rusher. Tuimoloau offers a little of everything. He has good size and length. He showed requisite athleticism at his pro day and also had great production, leading the Big 10 with 12.5 sacks as the Buckeyes won the national championship.

Round 3 (No. 78 overall) - TCU WR Jack Bech: Bech has size, runs good routes, is athletic and does everything quite well. He would fit what the Cardinals like to do with their receivers.

Round 3 (No. 93 overall) - Texas OT Cameron Williams: Williams has rare traits and athleticism, but was inconsistent for Texas in his one season starting at right tackle. He probably could have used another year in college. Luckily, the Cardinals don't need him to start as Jonah Williams is the starting right tackle, which means, they could have a guy who would likely have been a much better draft pick a year from now, and they get him at the back end of the third round.

Round 4 (No. 131 overall) - Oklahoma LB Danny Stutsman: Stutsman is 6-foot-3 and 233 pounds and has speed (4.52-second 40). He had over 100 tackles in three straight seasons and 35 tackles for loss over three seasons.

Round 5 (No. 173 overall) - Kansas RB Devin Neal: Neal has RB1 potential. At 5-11 and 213 pounds, he has good athleticism. He had over 1,200 yards in his final two seasons and averaged 5.7 yards per attempt over his college career. He can catch the ball and is decent in pass protection.

Round 6 (No. 179 overall) - Nevada S Kitan Crawford: Crawford is an athletic freak who is a standout special teams player.

Round 7 (No. 219 overall) - Iowa CB Jermari Harris: The Cardinals love cornerbacks and get one with size and decent athleticism with playmaking skills. He had three interceptions in 2024 and four in 2022, and he broke up 19 passes over his last three seasons.
