Most people on the board are pretty down on Stepanovich as he did poorly last year and was finally replaced by Lecky. He is bigger than Lecky (6'4" 312 lbs.)
He is (I believe) a restricted free agent. I think the Cards will tender him an offer.

I just wonder if Whiz and Grimm feel he can be a project and coached up.

He can't shotgun snapped, and for a guy who is 6'4 312 pounds he get annihilated on run blocks.

Maybe most of his problems were do to the coaching. Or not.

But, assuming it doesn't cost us much in the way of cap room, it shouldn't hurt to wait and see how he does under Grimm.

Incidently, I wonder if Cardinal offensive linemen have nicknamed their section of the play book "Grimm's Fairy Tales."
