They have only been playing one week but Stephen Drew already has hit three home runs for the Sidewinders. I wonder how long it will be until he is called up?

In an early game in Tennessee today, Garrett Mock threw 7 shutout innings, 5 hits, 1 walk, 6 strikeouts. 9 groundouts v. 6 flyball outs. ERA through 2 games is 2.08.

Drew has hit 3 home runs but hasn't done much else. He has struggled with the breakin ball and he still seems to be adjusting to triple-a pitching but defensively he has looked solid with great range.

I am pretty sure I know what you mean, but that statement seems odd. Three home runs in a week. That is pretty good.

Montero is the catcher of the future. Bank on it.

btw, I was also right that Sergio Santos would not make it to the bigs as a DBack.
