For all the negatives from Sunday's game, I came away somewhat impressed by Stewart Bradley in the fact that his nose seemed to be in on a lot of plays that went the Arizona Cardinals way.

Let's hope he continues with that, because in all honesty, I thought our defense looked pretty good overall.

The Cardinals only gave up 23 points, when they fumbled 3 times and threw 3 picks.

No reason not to play the guy at this point. I did see him in on a few plays.

Sadly it was Bradley's hit that broke Dan Williams arm. Other than that Bradley did finally start to show some stuff.

He was quick to the ball and made some hits. But he needs to finish off his tackles better. Much improved overall.

people bitch about Kolb and his contract when Stewart Bradley, and his $30 mill contract, is the one that should be being blasted. It's pretty bad that him finally getting on the field in week 10 and big hit on special teams is seen as a ray of hope. The sad fact is Reggie Walker is a better LB/player for the Cards.

12:07 in the 4th Bradley in for Lenon. Fights off a block and levels RB for no gain. Next play breaks up a pass forcing the 9ers to punt. I know SF was coasting at that point but still looked quicker and better at finding the RB and tackling and much better in coverage than Lenon.

I thought the same thing Duck. He made like 3 plays in a row. I was telling my buddy that he hasn't done anything all year.

I like your Little Feat reference btw in your sig..

Honestly, it's about time. You would like to see him get some significant playing time moving forward because you know what you are going to get with Lenon. It's all very well to know the play-book back to front, but you can't teach instincts or physical tools.

If Kolb came off the bench and made a huge hit on special teams I am sure people would be talking about him too.

Seriously? Bradley has been getting criticized all season long as an overpaid, bad free agent signing. He's not receiving any better treatment here than Kolb is.

Yes, his $30M contract is bad. It's also half of what Kolb is getting. We also didn't give up a 2nd round draft pick and a Pro Bowl player to get him. He's also playing a position of far less importance and impact than QB. Yet you're saying we should be more critical of him then Kolb?

Also, as far you saying that Bradley is the one who should be being blasted.... since when do we only criticize one player at a time around here? Every underachiever on the team has been getting it from the fans, Kolb, Bradley, Brown, Keith, etc.

How about if Kolb came off the bench and on two successive plays shut down the opponents offense by himself?

I'm glad Bradley is finally starting to show some skills. How good is it going to be for us if Stewart is half a step faster in coverage and half a beat better at filling gaps than Lenon? Getting another 34 year old off the field is almost always a good thing.

Don't mean to get into age discrimination but the NFL is a young man's game. Besides, since I'm an old guy myself ( but not even half as old as 40year) I can get away with a little ageism.

Well Kolb has done a pretty good job at times of shutting down our own offense, so :p

We have plenty of guys who can do that. In fact they line up to take turns doing it. They have one of those deli number things on the sidelines where the offensive players take numbers to see who gets to foul up next.
