No surprise,heard about this on 60 Minutes on there story on the NFL pipe line in Samoa a month ago. Am jealous also but you still have Stoops so all is good.

And you have Erickson and that is even better. The bars in Tempe are happy. Stoops has beaten ASU two years straight and he has much better talent now than what he inheritted. As mentioned by Ted Miller and others, including Ash and Gambo(who don't particularly like UofA), the Cats program is on the rise while ASU is on the decline. Keep thinking Stoops is bad for the UofA. I am very happy with him and ecstatic Erickson is still at ASU.

Lastly, enjoy beating NAU and Portland State. The PSU game is basically an exhibition game and that win means nothing except that it hurts the strength of schedule and it will also hurt at the ticket office. I highly doubt ASU will get 50,000+ to attend the PSU game.

I get RSS feeds for all forums with ASFN,I don't "Troll" saw this about the Samoan kid going to AU and remembered see a story on him on 60 minutes so I chimed in.I don't come on to start crap,just wanted to add something to the thread,the Stoops thing is all in fun and it seemed to hit a nerve and I apologize for it.

I guess we can have the debate of who's better between eternally mediocre Mike Stoops vs over the hill Dennis Erickson, but it's much easier to simply say that neither program is going to do anything significant for the foreseeable future.

I don't have a problem with asu fans posting here. I think it's good. Maybe True, when posters use terms like "rats" it gets on my nerves. Personally, I never use terms like "scum devils" when I post in asu's forum. It's all good though.

I dont know what tags besides mine that were placed after I went to work.. But mine wasnt immature.. My tag, that got deleted, simply stated "Bibby>Hawkins".. As of right now, that is a fact since Hawkins Jr hasnt done anything in the NCAA ranks or the NBA..

I didn't pick. I went to school, and the natural fact that ASU plays in my city and I can regularly attend their games made it a "basic connection".

Well considering when I was a kid all I watched was bball and ASU was never on tv for their basketball (so I never had the chance to pick them) and had no other reason to like them because it said Arizona on the jersey, then ya, thats why I picked the Wildcats.. And I could have gone to ASU, but I declined.. At least I got that going for me.. BTW, its not hard to regulary attend a UofA game when your living in Phoenix..
