I'm looking forward to seeing this one. Saw the trailer a few times and it looks really funny. Plus the story looks new and innovative.

Wow, I can't believe there wasn't a thread already for this.

We've been dying for this movie to come out since we saw the trailer a few months back. I love Will Farrell, especially in roles like this. Jim Carrey was always funny, but some of his great moments have been in The Truman Show, or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

To top it off, it's getting great reviews. Ebert and Roper did the review yesterday (Ebert actually still out, Mario Van Peebles was the guest reviewer), and they both loved it, said it's some of Farrell's best work.

And Roper said the last 15 minutes are the best he's seen this year.

I'm pumped!

Wow, this movie was fantastic!

Great acting, great plot and story...moving, different, unique...everything I love in a movie.

Emotional and moving...Will Ferrell has made that leap that Jim Carrey did....I love him in this type of role. It's not his normal funny stuff, so if you go looking for that, you'll be disappointed.

Also, maybe I'm just now noticing, but Maggie Gyllenhaal is one sexy woman

I just watched it. Very good movie. Will Ferrell was outstanding. The story was very fun to watch unfold.

Wife and I watched this last weekend. I thought it was very well done and the far more experienced actors (Hoffman and Thompson) played second fiddle really well without attempting to steal the show. It was funny and "dramatic" at the proper moments. Recommended as a date movie for anyone/everyone. Plus Maggie Gyllenhaal is easy on the eyes, which never hurts!

I just got done watching this as a rental and I loved it. Easily the best thing Will Farrell has done. I really liked the fact that it wasn't serious humor but adult humor.
