No surprise. It's not like you can get them all. Miller will bring in top recruits every year. Looking forward to the class Miller will get for 2010.

Actually this is a big surprise as Johnson's dad gave an indication that Johnson would make his visits (UA on Oct 3rd) before deciding in November. Out of all the big men UA is targeting Johnson was probably the one most likely to commit to UA, this hurts.

He had 6 schools he was high on, UVA indeed was one of them but he didn't even go though all his visits. I thought OU was the school to beat.

The problem
Virginia at the very worst was considered an even favorite with Arizona. His recruitment always somewhat boiled down to the academics and relationship with Virginia versus the location and sales job of Arizona. UVA won, Tony Bennett is a helluva coach. Onwards and upwards.
