Strong feeling, Berry will be a Card

I don't think it is unsual or bad that Berry wanted to fly back to Denver before he makes up his mind. It is not like Arizona is so far away from his home, he probably wanted to spend the night back at his place. The part that was very encouraging was the fact he said he WOULD LET THE CARDS KNOW TODAY. That is kind of a direct statement that he really wouldn't have to give a team if he already made up his mind. Then again, I get a strong feeling deep inside when I eat really spicey food.

I think we have a good chance. I agree with Skkorp about Berry using the Cards' offer to get more money elsewhere. I think he wants to stay in Denver with Dallas as his second choice.

My feeling is that the Cardinals' offer will be too much for him to pass up.

Not unusual for Berry

When he was deciding whether to attend Notre Dame or Penn State he decided to sleep on it for a night and then decide. This method has worked for him. Bert is not a game player and is a thoughtful intelligent guy. I will trust that his decision will be about what is best for his family and his career. We very much have a chance.

You stole my post. I agree. Although Broncos fans are wailing crocodile tears on their boards because they assume Bert Berry is already a Cardinal.
