that's great - it's like he's the ONLY one who KNOWS that shot's going in!

the guy in blue 2 rows behind the striped shirt almost looks like he is praying the shot doesn't go in. The rest of them are in a daze.

btw, I took a look at the Mavs forum. Those guys are just downright mean and hateful. They have this huge pent up hatred for Nash, and in general the posts are quite unpleasant. The photoshop thread for the Suns series is pretty mean-spirited as well. Barbosa seems to be another much reviled player there.

The flags outside the Dallas arena which say "Rowdy proud, loud" is totally true.

Have you ever been to Texas? They don't think they are a separate state, they think they are a separate country. <end_sweeping_generalization />

Years ago, I almost disowned my parents for making me stay in Texas for two weeks to see relatives.

I like the background on this shot as well.

Most of us know exactly how those fans feel too. Not fun at all.

On a side note...

How on earth does Goldstein make it to, what seems like, every game in the playoffs. All joking aside, I swear he has been to every Suns game this postseason...and most of the other big Western Conference games.

(he's the guy sitting front row directly behind Nash with the hat showing)

Is this the pic when the ref called an offensive foul on Harris?

Yes, it is also in the front page of the AZ republic today.

It appeared to me that Barbosa thought at first that Nash was called for a foul and was upset. He quickly went over and got between Nash and either the ref or the Mavs player.

huh?

do you mean " The flags outside the Dallas arena which say "Rowdy proud, loud" " ?
If so, I noticed those when TNT came off commercial breaks and focussed on the entrance to the arena.

I think he meant the Mavs forum you mentioned in this thread.

i was looking at the link that M3Man -smart-ass Dallas fan who wanted to be friendly before the Game 1 loss; gave in his post. www.dallas_mavs.com

The distasteful posts/pics I mentioned were those I've attached at te end of this message:

Some of the posts:

"Mavs: 109
Suns 'a *******: 102"

A loser post:
" Nash left on his own. He bailed on the Mavericks, not the other way around.

So if Finley deserved razzing, then Nash deserves more.

"It's definitely time to let him have it," Jerry Stackhouse said Tuesday. "And we're not joking about this one. This one's for real."

Of course, as Stackhouse mentioned afterward, it might also be good just to "let sleeping dogs lie" and not get the two-time MVP too worked up."

ANother idiiot on the board:
" I don't particularly care to see Mavs fans boo Nash.

I would really like to see Gana knock him on his ***** pumpkin head a couple of times, tho."

DUMB POST
" Let Harris come off the bench to wear out Nash or to match up boris diaw"

If these guys had watched the Preakness and seen Barbaro limp in pain, and if they know the poor animal's chances for survival are 50-50, these pics are in very poor taste.

Well that's just not right. What i've come to realize though is the least classiest fan's teams lose. So I guess the Suns are going to the Finals. I'd love nothing more than to beat the Mavs tommorow.

The barbaro one's are distasteful, but the brokeback mountain one was pretty funny and creative. It's no worse than some of our Cassel-alien pics.

yup. The Brokeback pic was funny.
All the Barbosa pics were twisted. In fact I downloaded a copy of the picture onto my computer. Nash looks the most out of place of the three in the cowboy outfit, though it should be the other way around! He has this total benign look on his face!

btw Folster, whats with the Indian Maharaja avtar?
