Is there anyway we can get a rolling ticker at the top of the main forum page for athletes twitters? Seems it would be cool..

Is there anyway we can get a rolling ticker at the top of the main forum page for athletes twitters? Seems it would be cool..

Technically we can via RSS (we already have RSS feeds from yahoo sports, etc...) but I would not be in favor of it since so much of twitter is just nonsense.

Just sign up for twitter and watch it for a month and you will see what I mean.

Some suggestions of people to follow:

Adam_Schefter - an absolute must if you want latest breaking NFL scoops.
Lfitzgerald11 - he tweets pretty regularly
Ddockett - Darnell is all over the place nuts.
Cardschatter - Darren Urban, definitely follow.

Yeah, Schefter and Urban are pretty solid, and that might be worth a look. But I don't think it adds any value when Dock says "Who wants to go jet-skiing!" It's just all over the place.

But definitely follow Schefter. I swear that guy must have incriminating pictures of Drew Rosenhaus. He is usually the fastest with breaking NFL news.

Certainly better then some of the RSS feeds we get.

Maybe Sando too, although a lot of his stuff is just rewritten.
