Suggestions to make this forum better

Maybe start with the classic games? Maybe characters would allow for a kumite involving old and new games.

I plan on doing a release calendar.

Something I would like to see here and the movie forums would be that when a movie or game comes out, an official thread is started as a Poll so that people can continuously vote on the game and post there comments about it.

I know we have the star system but most people don't use it. However, when there is a poll people always seem to use it.

Just my 1 cent. I lost the other one in the couch.

I suggested this long ago in the movie forum. I really thought people would appreciate it, especially if the poll was public so you can see what people you generally agree or disagree with think of it. I was shot down.

No I mean more like a rating thread each time a game comes out. That way it can help people make an informed decision on if the game is any good and if they should get it.

alot of games and alot of crappy games come out, make a thread when you buy one or want to talk about one, we dont need one for every game.

I agree with this. On the release calendar, I will try to list all of the games coming out that week. If you want to talk about a game specifically after you buy it, we should start a new thread.

That's now what I was suggesting. Obviously, you wouldn't want a thread for all games. My point is that when a thread is created it would be nice to include a rating Poll when you make an official thread to help people making informed decision perhaps about buying a game versus reading 4 to 5 pages of posts.
