Suggs doesn't talk with Phoenix police

Former Arizona State football star Terrell Suggs has returned to Los Angeles without being interviewed by Phoenix police who are investigating a brawl Suggs was involved in last Saturday.
Suggs, accompanied by Phoenix attorney Darrow Soll, on Wednesday night had photos taken by Phoenix police of wounds he received during the brawl.
"I can't comment on the specifics," of the face-to-face meeting, Soll said.
"We have provided them with the identification of witnesses. We have provided them with photographs. We have permitted Terrell to be photographed."
Gary Wichard, Suggs' Los Angeles-area based agent, had been speaking for the ex-Sun Devils standout since the brawl, which took place in the parking lot of Phoenix Municipal Stadium at a 3-on-3 basketball tournament.
Thursday, Wichard referred all inquiries to Soll.
"I'm out," he said, before confirming that Suggs wasn't interviewed by the police.
Wichard said Suggs has resumed preparation in Los Angeles for the April 20-21 NFL draft. Suggs has another workout for NFL scouts scheduled later this month. In a workout at ASU last week, he ran a slow time in the 40-yard dash that may have an impact on where he is drafted. A police spokesman had said on Tuesday the police needed to speak with Suggs to determine "if a crime had been committed." Weapons were used in the brawl that may have had as many as nine participants.
Earlier Thursday, Phoenix police were telling news outlets Suggs wasn't cooperating with investigators.
"We believe we have been cooperative and will continue to be cooperative with police," said Soll, who has represented boxer Mike Tyson and former ASU quarterback Ryan Kealy. "We have provided them with information that will be exculpatory towards Terrell."
Phoenix police have yet to file an official report on the brawl.
