They just need to get rid of this game. Everyone gets all upset about the players playing the game.

He just went for the tackle. It's a football game, people get hit...it's better that this is at the end of the season too because injuries won't get in the way of a team's season.

I agree. The game is completely meaningless. Remember Troy Edwards? Even though he didn't get hurt in the game, being named to the Pro Bowl ended his career.

Unless he tore a knee or something like that, then it would most definitely get in the way of a team's season.

The game should not exist.

If the NFL got rid of the game we wouldn't be able to argue about whether a guy is a "pro-bowl" talent. Where's the fun in that?

For example: Tennessee was right all along. Vince Young is a pro bowl talent. Jay Cutler and Matt Leinart are not. There's a reason the latter two dropped in the draft. :D

In regards to the game, they either need to make it during the season, at around after game 10 or so and make every team use that week as its bye, or get rid of it all together.

:D Who backed out of the pro bowl to let Vince in? I know that Phillip Rivers backed out. Was Vince Young really voted in ahead of Tom Brady, or did Brady say no, too?

I'm not hating on Young here, either. I know that he didn't get in on the first ballot (or whatever). I'm just wondering how far into the barrel the AFC had to dig. Wasn't Steve McNair a starter for the AFC last season after a bunch of QBs backed out?

Vince Young was the 6th choice.. Manning and Palmer went.. Rivers got injured then McNair and Brady declined with injures, or so they say.. Brady was playing golf on national tv with weekend..

Regardless.. Young shouldnt have been there even as the 6th choice.. There are better QB's in the AFC than him.. I think they called him just cuz people wanna see him run.. I believe it was a fan excitement choice...

Actually McNair deferred to Young so that his friend Vince could have the experience of playing in the game and be exposed to the coaching.

But then VY was only 8-5 as a starter and Rookie of the Year so I don't know why in the world they would have even considered him.

Why make it in the middle of the season? I enjoy the Pro Bowl and think this would be the best time for it.

Suggs was a ****** during that game. 1st off going for Bree's at his legs. He should have stopped. 2nd he had another play where I said, "What the f is that idiot doing out there!?!"

The coaching staff should have pulled him aside after the Bree's contact and reminded him to take it easy.
