Wow nice comeback. I watched the first few minutes when the team was down 12-0.

How about Casey going to the line 12 times!

But Lonny Jones of the Cavs!! 7' rookie with 17 points, 20 rebounds and 6 blocks!

This kid was very impressive last night

We should try and get our hands on him since i don't think he has a contract with the Cleveland yet. (not sure though)

Who is he. He's not listed in Draft City.

What has Jones done "lately"?

BTW, Vroman's stats showed no offense, but he had five rebounds in 14 minutes.

Arthur Johnson only played 7 minutes, but Holman played for 21 minutes and grabbed 6 rebounds, but unfortunately had 5 fouls. Michael Wright had 5 rebounds in 21 minutes to go with 3 of 4 shooting. Since only one of these three is even likely to get an invite to training camp, right now it looks like Wright may be ahead.

Dial shot only 1 of 10, while Blizzard went 6 of 10.

Barbosa had three turnovers and only one assist, but put up 18 points.

Casey shot well again including geting to the line 12 times. I notice they had him starting at forward, but he had 5 assists, no turnovers and a steal in 35 minutes. So far, he is clearly the team's summer MVP.

That was one of the best comebacks I have seen lately! At onhe point I think the announcers said the Suns hit 5 3's in a row. Cleveland had that game in a blow out. How we came back was unreal. Casey has a shot at the Las Vegas MVP, IMHO. He did a ton of things that didn't show up in the box score that lead to us winning that game! :D

My only concern is that Eric says Casey still isn't showing a mid range game. However, I'm pleased to see that he is taking it to the basket without creating charges all the time.

I get the feeling that we may underrate Casey because he is not much of a "jump athlete". There are a lot of guys who have been outstanding players who did not wow you with their athleticism. Chris Mullen is a guy who was on the original Dream Team and I don't think I ever saw him dunk. (BTW, Chris did not look that great his first couple of seasons).

If Casey keeps improving, I suspect he will still end up in the rotation even with all the other perimeter guys. Really good shooters are hard to keep out of the lineup.

I did not get a chance to watch much of last night's game yet but it looked to me like Casey has been working on coming off screen with a catch and shoot.

Of course the summer offense seems to be centered around him and it appears he is being told to be agressive on offense.

Lampe looks very anxious to shoot and it seemed like he is fading back on his jumper. The Dude is SEVEN FEET TALL, go stright up and shoot.

Lampe needs a lot of PT.

Damn you NBA for not having a developmental system where teams could work with the young players and get game experience. :bang:

They interviewed Casey after the game and he says he is working on the dribble shot in paractice and practice games. He said he is going to concentrate on doing that more the remaining summer. I have a feeling that with the summer league talent level, he is getting more all the way to the basket opportunities. Why pull up when you have a lay up? It was good to hear he knows what the book on him is, and he has been working on that pull up off the dribble jumper!
