I found another article about Jaden Shackelford, a 6'3" inch guard from the Oklahoma City Blue whom the Suns just acquired.

The Suns G League team sent a first-round pick in the 2025 NBA G League Draft to obtain his rights.

He must have made an impression in the Las Vegas Summer League.

Story by Damon Allred, SB Nation:

Suns fans may recognize Shackelford’s name from when he terrorized the Summer Suns in Las Vegas to the tune of six threes, three assists and one steal with no turnovers off the bench in a 100-99 Suns win.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound guard averaged 14 points (37.1% on 8.6 3PA) over 60 regular season games (43 starts) with the Blue over the past two seasons.

He has not yet made his NBA debut, as he went undrafted in 2022 and signed an Exhibit-10 deal with the Thunder before being placed on the Blue’s opening night roster.

Seems like Ish takes care of his buddies, I'm just waiting for IT to come on board. Not exactly the best look for the future imo.

Hmmm. Seems like more wheeling and dealing in the G League just from first glance...

Only a guess, but it looks like the Suns want certain type of players who fit in their system better.

Suns are loving those point guards this season.

It really seems like Coach Bud told JJ he's not going to play the fool like Vogel did for the horrible roster construction. It's still mind boggling how we were supposed to contend with half a PG on the roster. I say half because Goodwin wasn't a real PG and he was dealt anyways and IT came in on 10 day contracts right at the end of the season. Saying we carried 1 PG all season would be rounding up.
