Yeah Bell is not really the long-term solution at SG I would imagine. His defense isn't really that good, his rebounding is HORRIBLE and his offense and basketball IQ isn't good either. He is a good 3pt shooter but he is imo taking too many shots.

And wtf, I know Diaw made the 3 but that's our best play when we are down 3? Let Diaw shoot a 3? omg.

And Barbosa might just be a bigger choker than Shawn Marion.

Send Gordon to the line even more, what an embarassment defensively for Nash, Barbosa,Bell or whoever these games are against Arenas, Terry and Gordon.

Don't give up on Bell yet. He was good last year, he'll figure it out. Yeah, maybe not a long term solution but only because he's 30.

Who cares if Barbosa misses a lay-up here and there. The guy was open, he can make 3 pointers and he just did. Give him some credit.

D'Antoni has to be the best play diagrammer during the course of the game.

We may not always make the last shot, but we always get a good one off. Using Nash as a decoy was great

You know Slinslin, you sure do complain a lot for someone who's favorite basketball team has the 2nd best record in the league.

Intersting that when Raja Bell fouled out, in came Diaw who was not having a good game............hits a big three and a great pass to Barbosa for the game winner!

24 points, 18 rebounds, 4 steals, 1 block, 2 assists according to yahoo.

No offense to the other players but Amare is the reason we won this game. Look at his stat line... and that's with Ben Wallace who some consider one of the best rebounder and defenders on Amare for most of the night.

If you had told me he would have 18 boards with Ben on him most of the night I probably would have called you crazy. Now with that massive dunk he had, the tips, rebounds.... Amare is so close IMO. I still think he needs that massive 45 point game for me to declare him back but...man...the manchild is getting there.

We had a garbage game from the start all the way through to the middle of the third and still pull out this win. The biggest kudos go to Amare for basically keeping us in the game until our 4th quarter heroics.

We would have lost this game by 30 last year without Amare. We can shoot bad AND still compete.

Lol. I don't have to even read the previous 2 pages to know what some of you were saying about PHX tonight.

Just stay away from this team. You're not welcome. You don't deserve a great team. Please, just do yourself a favor and choose a different team.

- Amare just completely and utterly OWNED Ben Wallace. I'm not looking at the final #'s, but Wallace was reduced to Rick Robey tonight.

Amare will be starting for the West at center. And, some of you were so eager to write him off. Where are you now?

- Nash's game is even a step above his 2 previous MVP years. His on-court IQ just continues to reach new heights. He needs 1 title to be held in the same class as Larry & Magic.

- Barbosa. That shot will do wonders for him the rest of the year. An inside/outside threat at all times. If the defender is having an off night, Barbosa will make you pay. Why? Because he hustles his ass off every single game.

- Marion. An unsung hero this game. What's new? He kept them from letting the game get completely out of reach. Of course, it won't be good enough for some of you.

- Mike D. The bench got them back into the game with hustle on D. He threw JJ and Banks a bone, and they came through when needed. Of course, JJ needs to get his shot straight... because it's awful right now. Just another masterful stroke by the coach tonight in keeping his team in it.

He just needs a few inches on his vertical and to wipe the butter off his fingers to be back to what he was. Too many turnovers usually...but unbelievable game today! His mid-range shot is really getting there.

You are so correct. The big difference between last years team and this years is that we can shoot bad and still win because of Amare. His inside game allows the team to get to the free throw line at the end of games and he has had some huge rebounds or tips at the end of games.

I agree with everything else you said, but there is no way Amare will ever start for the West at center as long as Yao Ming is in the conference - unless of course the NBA bans international voting :)

David Lee deserves 6th man of the year by the way, no doubt, New York may be bad but Lee deserves it. 8 points 10 rebounds 2 assists 1 steal at the half against Sacramento and he is averaging almost 11/11 of the bench.

He's hurt. Doesn't he have a fractured leg?

Yao Ming is injured, and if I remember correctly, the EARLIEST he can come back is the All-Star break.

Simply an awesome game. One knows the Suns are on the top of their game when they are not particularly playing well and still win the close ballgames.

It leaves the other team scratching their heads asking how they won the game... like last year.

What can I say about Amare? He played so extremely well and particularly under control... very mature.

Ben Gordon seemed like he just couldn't miss even when good defense was applied.

That was the earliest he could be back--there's a good possibility that he won't be ready to go by the All-Star break.

Fair enough. He went in for more testing right before the NY hoping for a better prognosis than the original one - which was a return in early Feb. according to ESPN.

Either way, Amare should be on the allstar team. He may actually make it because of the 'C' position next to his name. The forward position is so ridiculously stacked it would be hard for even him to make it.
