Suns.com: NBA TV to broadcast Vujanic in Euro Final Four

April 28, 2004: Let the Euro madness begin. NBA TV will be broadcasting the Euroleague Final Four for the first time beginning Thursday, April 29 from Tel Aviv. Guard Milos Vujanic, whose rights the Suns obtained in January's trade with the Knicks, will be leading his Skipper Bologna team against Montepaschi Siena in the first game which tips off at 9 a.m. Arizona time.
NBA TV's international hoops expert, Simone Sandri, called Vujanic "the best guard in Europe. Playmaker with a scorer's mentality. Part of the Stephon Marbury trade, he was a great pickup for the Phoenix Suns and will have a bright future in the NBA."
The Championship Game will be played this Saturday, May 1, at 11:30 a.m. Arizona time.
April 15, 2004: Milos Vujanic has been selected as a nominee for to the 2003-04 All-Euroleague Team. The Yugoslavian point guard, whose rights the Suns obtained in January's trade with New York, averaged 15.6 points in leading his Skipper Bologna team to the Euroleague Final Four, to be held April 29 to May 1 in Tel Aviv.
April 8, 2004: Milos Vujanic's Skipper Bologna team has made it to the Euroleague's Final Four with a dramatic 81-80 victory over France's Pau-Orthez. Vujanic, whose rights the Suns acquired in January's trade with the Knicks, connected on a pair of free throws in the final seconds and finished with 13 points. Widely considered the top point guard in Europe, Vujanic has averaged 16.1 points in six tournament games for the Italian team. The Final Four begins in Tel Aviv on April 29.
April 7, 2004: European star Milos Vujanic has a "great chance" of playing for the Suns next season according reports eastvalleytribune.com. "The time is ripe for him to come; the Suns don’t have any elite point guards," said David Bauman, Vujanic's representative with SFX sports agency.
The Suns acquired the rights to the player widely considered Europe's best playmaker in January's blockbuster trade with the Knicks, who selected Vujanic in the second round of last summer's NBA Draft.
