Suns off to good start and lead by 7 points at the end of the first quarter.

There was Tucker driving the ball straight to the basket straight with Dragic on the wing but slightly behind. Tucker rightly did not pass the ball off and risk a turnover and gets two free throws. I've seen this play before and Tucker makes the right decision again.

I'm not watching, so I have to ask: Did Eddie Johnson correctly refrain from criticizing Tucker this time?

First off, it was nothing like the first play and secondly, I think it was a bad decision on Tucker's part - once again. We had a 3 on 1 and he made sure that the best we could do is get two free throws. He was never going to get that shot off, the defender had him smothered. I don't know if that was all on Tucker but with a 3 on 1 you really should get a basket and a free throw.

Morris is the weak link tonight.

I didn't hear any mention it was a bad play.

Nothing was said about it either way I believe. But there should have been as it was a poorly executed fast break. The ballhandler was covered well before the free throw line and he should have passed it to Goran on one wing or Dudley trailing on the other. You have a much better chance of getting an and-one that way and much less chance of getting the shot blocked.

Brown is much much worse

Agreed. Brown is leaving a brown streak on the court. He takes some idiotic shots. We had a nice flow going and he enters the game and does his "dribble for 15 seconds" routine several plays in a row and our offense totally imploded.

It was a very similar play. Dragic was behind in that other play earlier this season and was also tonight.

If Tucker was driving with Dragic parallel to him, then then a pass off would have been appropriate. However, Tucker was driving the ball straight to the basket and the defender was moving.

I did not see a third player in the picture that was available pertinent to complete the play besides Dragic.

I wouldn't want to argue the point but Morris cannot play inside with the big boys. Brown has played hard and has 8 points.

We disagree but mostly we disagree on the location of Dragic. I believe he was running step for step with Tucker. Tonight, he was clearly a full step behind Tucker but still in his vision and Dudley was uncovered on the other wing. It was a poorly executed 3 on 1 but to be fair, I don't really know that tonight's play was all Tucker's fault. He's not a guard and I have no idea how much work he's had running a 3 on 1.

It's interesting how we can see the same play and look at it differently. I see it through Tucker's eyes. :D

Dragic is having a real nice game. He has 17 points and 7 assists thus far. He has had some very impressive drives to the basket.

Scola... not the play of a cagey veteran... this is probably the game if they get the FTs and the ball.

I apologize Scola, totally the play of a cagey vet. You had them right where you wanted them.

I wish Dragic had just drove the ball to the basket and tried to get a foul call at the end of the 4th quarter.

You know you don't have a go-to guy when your backup center winds up taking the final shot for the win.

Beasley should not be on the floor.
