I think we should play it safe and let Goran rest for five games or so. Let Bledsoe sit out the season as well. If Minnesota just happens to move ahead of us in the standings, so be it.

Then let's bring in Fredette and give him a look. I don't have much confidence in the Kings. They also just brought in Royce White on a ten day contract.

I'd be OK with that. I don't think he will ever be anything more than a deep bench guy, but it'd be worth it to give him a chance and see what he can do. Hell, it's not like anyone outside of Bledsoe, Dragic, and Tucker plays any defense anyway. At least Jimmer can actually shoot.

this game is almost unwatchable right now

The only reason I'm still watching is Archie Goodwin.

If Frye were a good they'd would call him "Super Frye." :D

Is Len so bad he can't get more than 3 minutes. Wait, don't answer that.

The minute I speak, there he appears.

Someone needs to check the Suns vitals. There doesn't seem to be a pulse. Len and Plumlee are excruciating to watch now.

This game was depressing. I think we just witnessed the beginning of the end.

Well nice showing offensively for Archie Goodwin. His defense was pretty bad, as was the D for the rest of the team. You take someone like Dragic out of the line up for this overachieving team and they just fall apart. That shooting percentage had to be a near record. Wow.

Ish led the team with 8 boards. The guy is like 6 ft even and 140 and he leads the team in rebounds.

This is what needs to be fixed this off season. Frye, Morri, Plumlee, Tucker all HIGHLY replaceable.

God getting the #14 would be the worst of the worst. Stuck in mediocrity.

Please just get into the playoffs somehow to avoid the embarrassment.

If Dragic's out any longer, I'd like to see us give Jimmer a chance.

If our offense is all about spacing then Jimmer would do a much better job than Ish. Jimmer's still a great shooter.

I totally disagree about replacing the Morris twins. (Especially Markieff.) He is in the running for 6th man and averaging 13/6 off the bench. His game has totally transformed this year. He's never going to be a star but not everyone can be.

Marcus is solid off the bench. Nothing super-special but he gives you some scoring. And he has an almost creepy chemistry with Markieff.

I didn't say they should all be replaced but none of them are irreplaceable and all could be upgraded. Even Markieff while performing nicely in the 6th man role has not demonstrated the ability to be a good starting 4 in the NBA. Also the creepy thing he has with his brother is problematic. If the Suns bring in 3 first round rookie bigs Marcus could be the odd man out.

He hasn't really gotten the chance this year. I don't really count his first two years because some players just take longer to develop. He was, at best, below average as a starter prior to this year. But he has improved a LOT this season and would probably do much better as a starter than his previous seasons.

I'm not saying he'll ever be great but he is coming along pretty nicely this season. He's already developed into one of the better bench players in the league. I wouldn't replace him unless you can do so with someone proven.

Edit: I know that the "PER 36" stat is not totally reliable, but he's at 18/8. With his play this year it's fairly safe to say that he'd be somewhere near those numbers with an increased role. I wouldn't call that highly replaceable.

I just think it's way too early to give up on him unless you can find someone proven.

Markieff and Marcus wont be the odd men out unless traded.. The Suns will be well served to not spend on Frye and Tucker which means the Morri need to be ready to take the final step next season and before they become RFAs.
I also think the Morri are critical pieces when it comes to team chemistry. Their family has been that way since their Kansas days.

Ish out rebounds Frye quite often when Ish gets the minutes.

Ish is 5'11 and Frye 6'11, 250lbs of course

I imagine it won't hold up with more minutes but Goodwin has been a heck of a rebounder this year... he's 5% below Frye on a per minute basis. Fifth highest rate among SGs that have played over 200 minutes (Tucker is the best among players who are listed as SGs.)
