The Suns may again be missing four players.

We're missing our starting and backup Centers, our starting Power Forward (who is really a Small Forward) and our starting Point Guard, who is still getting accustomed to the NBA.
With Booker himself not fully back in playing shape following injuries and, of course, weary from covering two positions. That affects 4 of the 5 positions on the court. 'Can't win that way!
I expect I'm going to be criticized by a few for bringing this up, but is the Suns incidence of injuries normal for an NBA team? Or is it a direct correlation of playing our Forwards and Guards out of position. And our Centers 23 feet from the basket to set picks, then scrambling toward the basket to try to be in position to score?
I watched Acy, a brick sh**house at 6'7", playing Center and having to do the same thing. 'Sort of makes it obvious that our Centers should not have to race to the basket as the clock wears down to be in a position to score. And, by doing so, they're putting more stress on their bodies. Anyone can set a pick on the perimeter. It doesn't have to be the Center.
So, yes, I've answered my own question. The Suns ignorant game plan of stationing Ayton, Holmes, Bender or Acy (whoever is the "5" man on the court) at the 3-point stripe is causing injuries. As is playing Warren at the "4" and Booker at the "1"/"2".
It is not a coincidence. It is not something that has "happened" to the Suns (as in bad luck). It is the consequence of ignorant management.
"Ignorant" does not mean stupid. "Ignorant of" is defined as "unaware of". Suns management may or may not be stupid or inexperienced or low paid or egotistical or meek.
They appear to be ignorant of what it takes for a team to face the grind of an NBA season, especially one which has been trying to get out of last place.
And we, the fans, are watching the consequences. If a restaurant ran its wait-staff this way, they'd be out of business. Think about it!
