I would think that they would be. So far this season everything on ABC, TNT and ESPN has also been available in HD.

Yeah, my worry is with ESPN. Many times (on the Tuesday night games specifically) they would air CLE/DET (the early game) in HD and then kick over to standard def for a late Lakers game. Basketball in HD is muy bueno.

I am hoping for a Suns sweep, don't get me wrong. But the cynical side of me is thinking about how much more money the NBA and the networks will make if the Lakers make it to the WC finals and how Kobe gets all those great calls from the refs. But hopefully we put enough points on the board to overcome the vilest of conspiracy theories.

If the NBA was rigged, San Antonio would never make it to the NBA finals. I believe their 3 finals appearances have been the lowest rated in the last 20 years.

Ha! I agree. Also some conspiracy theorists have already begun suggesting that we watch the CLE games very closely to see how many veteran calls LBJ gets.
