I didn't see a game thread so I thought I would put one up. Marshall played in the first half backing up Dragic. I haven't see Telfair play tonight. I couldn't help but wonder if Boston might have interest in him as Rondo is reportedly out for the season with torn ACL. Garrett played well in his stint in summer league.

yeah that usually signals something. when someone doesn't play without good reason not to. telfair is probably on his way out.

Marshall for a 3 without hesitation. Wow.

I've always thought Telfair would be traded this season because of persistent rumors.

IMO, Vince Carter never played as hard for the Suns as he has played for the Mavs.

I think tonight is the first time I have seen Marshall look comfortable on the court.

If Boston can't acquire a better PG than Telfair to replace Rondo then I think the Celtics will likely just blow it up and start trading away Garnett, Bass etc.

Telfair might be attractive for a second round pick and the remainder of a $1,567,500 salary.

I think Telfair would fit nicely with that Boston group and I just don't see a better option for them unless they do choose to blow it all up. And I'm not sure their pieces would bring enough in return to warrant blowing it up.

I don't think all that highly of Rondo, but asking Telfair to fill his shoes would be a pretty tall order.

I think Boston is going to go after Kyle Lowry or Jose Calderon.

This is the rumor, the Celts wanting Lowry. However, do they have or want to give up significant assets to get him? Just saying Telfair would be a more obtainable player and I think he would play well as a starter... certainly not Rondo good, but well enough.

When I heard about the Rondo injury, my first thought was to trade Telfair and Dudley to Boston for Sullinger and Lee. Dudley played his college ball there and would certainly be better in their system than Lee. I know Boston wouldn't do it, but I'd sure love to see Sullinger playing for the Suns.

I do not see the Celtics giving up Sullinger.

We would not do it.

Sullinger is still only a marginal talent with long term health concerns and no athleticism.

Courtney Lee is a bad bad contract.

No way we would trade Dudley in a deal like that.

We could prob get MacAdoo or Plumlee late in the draft which will have more upside and less injury issues. Keep an eye on Patric Young, Florida, in the 2nd round as well, he could be a sleeper pick, he reminds me a lot of Brandon Bass, strong athletic, plays with his back to the basket. If he could ever develop an outside shot would be really good.

Hey, Boston would be glad to trade us Sullinger for Marshall - how could they pass up the 13th pick for the 21st pick? Obvious no brainer for them.

I like Young, I'd be shocked if he made it into the second round. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go just out of the lottery.
