Saturday the Suns play the second of back-to-back games at the Pacers.

Pacers are 6-2 having won two games in a row with their last game being a 114-107 win over the Rockets at home on Wednesday.

Suns drop to 6-3 after losing to the Pistons 110-105 in overtime Friday.

After Saturday's game the Suns play the Wizards on Monday before returning home.

The game will be televised on FSAZ.

Start time is again 5 p.m. Arizona time.

Suns will need to figure out stagnant periods in their offense soon.

Throughout the Phoenix Suns’ 6-2 start, the offense through the starting five has underwhelmed. It has often been one of the stories of the games, sometimes even mentioned right here at the start of a game recap.

In those six wins, they found ways to come out on top despite that. In those two losses, it wasn’t necessarily the focal point of why they failed to end up victorious.

It sure was, however, in Friday’s 110-105 loss in overtime to the Detroit Pistons.

The Suns scored only 51 points in the last 35 minutes of the game. That included a six-minute run to close the first half of just two points, a 20-point third quarter and a 17-point fourth quarter.

They're better without CP3 than they are with him.

Suns may keep seeing zones until they figure it out.

Attack the basket, move the ball

stop just settling for lazy 3s when they aren’t falling.

Enough with the over dribbling. Mainly Booker. If you have someone on your back and the shot is open, just take it. Don’t kick it out for a more even difficult shot.

Cam Payne and Jalen Smith are OUT.

Losing Payne for tonight's game will especially hurt.

Lazy is an excellent description of the 3-point shot.

It was initiated by the ABA, which needed gimmicks
to compete with the NBA before they merged.

As we know, the Suns fovor gimmicks.

And now the NBA is looking into a 4-point shot?!?

Boring!

This could be where Cam Payne sprained his right ankle.

Ugh not having payne hurts :( hope other bench llayers perform today

It will hurt for sure. I expect to see more of Jevon Carter and point Booker. Also E'Twaun Moore may get some minutes.

Really hope that pistons loss doesn't cause a losing streak.... that kind of loss can mess up momentum

Nervous on today gm on seeing how they come out

and I’m sure you will revel in a blowout with a million posts if it happens but disappear like a fart in the wind if it doesn’t.

Actually, I don't intend to post either way during or after the game. At this point, the team's play, particularly of Paul and Booker, speaks for itself.

Suns pass the ball around and Bridges gets the layup.
