Tonight the Suns play at the Pelicans with a 6 p.m. Arizona start time. The Suns still have to be smarting from their lopsided loss to the Bucks on Saturday after giving up 137 points.

From the ESPN Preview.

The Pelicans (19-32) have lost four in a row and five of their last six. The Suns (16-35) have dropped six of their last seven.

What makes it even worse for the Pelicans is the fragile health of All-Star forward Anthony Davis, who tweaked his lower right leg in a 105-91 road loss on Saturday night to the Washington Wizards late in the first half and limped through the rest of the game.

The Pelicans and Suns have split their first two games this season, both going to overtime, with each team winning on the other's court. Pelicans reserve guard Tim Frazier, who has played little in recent weeks, had a triple-double off the bench (14 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists) in a 120-119 New Orleans victory on Dec. 11. Booker has averaged 27.0 points on .514 shooting in the two games against New Orleans.

Really need to root for a loss today, it will start to open up some distance for one of the top picks.

We're already four games ahead of sac, 5 ahead of Miami, 5 ahead of dallas, loss puts us 4 ahead of new Orleans, maybe 4 ahead of minnesota.

The Lakers are the team to worry about.

If they end up managing to be worse than us and the draft lottery runs similar to last year with it staying true to record then it would be a massive blow to the entire Suns franchise.

Forget the fact that they are a hated rival but to out tank the Suns in two consecutive seasons would be beyond disappointing.

Good news for the Suns...lakers are crusing to a victory against the knicks.

Every Lakers win helps. It's halftime so they need to keep it up.

Solomon Hill pushes Chandler in the neck area with his arm. The referees are reviewing it. It's called a flagrant 1.

I don't think I would want to get under Chandler's skin.

Bledsoe has not been aggressive since he picked up 3 PFs in the 1st half.

Warren is the Suns leading scorer with 16 points. Booker has 7.

BRANDON KNIGHT is basically keeping the Pelicans in the game single handedly.

This is the thing. The Pelicans have decent guards and Davis. I think they should be a better team.

Agree. I'm not sure what they are missing.

The Suns are loving small ball with Knight, Warren, Tucker, Dudley and Barbosa.

Now the Suns put Bledsoe and Booker back in the game.
